This is a great service, highly respected and valued, not only by the people we support but also by their parents and carers who gain valuable respite time. Outreach is available to anyone irrespective of age or level of learning disability.
Excellent support is provided, on a one to one basis, by committed staff who are recruited for their caring nature and good support skills. Individual staff are carefully matched to the people we support to maxamise the enjoyment of their chosen activites. Some people choose to go swimming, shopping or bowling, some want to go to the cinema, workout at the gym or down to the local for a drink. Others just want some good company or a little help around the home.
We have our own minibus which was purchased with the help and kind generosity of the Lord Taveners. Many of the young people we support like to go out together in the bus at weekends and during the school holidays. These outings are very popular and a great way of meeting new friends and having fun.
