Whilst we are a very friendly bunch and provide a great service, many of the people we support love to meet other people and make new friends. A new face, even if it is just for an hour or two can help make lives more fulfilling.
You could help us support a group of people in one of our homes or accompany an individual on an outing, to the shops or for a coffee. Sometimes all it needs is a little friendly chat with someone to make a big difference. You may have a particular skill that you could share, especially beneficial if it is something someone would love to learn but has not yet had the opportunity.
We are currently looking for a volunteer driver with D1 on their licence. Someone who could step in and lend a helping hand when on the rare occasion we do not have a driver. This voluntary work would be to drive our minibus for about 6 hours on either a Saturday or Sunday. This would be to take young people with learning disabilities and their support workers to activities of their choice in the community.
If you would like to help to make some dreams come true please contact us.
