Maddie has been teaching herself how to crochet, and she is doing an amazing job.
She has shown fantastic patience, determination, and creativity while learning this new skill. With every new stitch, her confidence continues to grow, and it has been wonderful to watch her develop her techniques and create something she can be proud of.
Learning a new hobby takes dedication, and Maddie has embraced the challenge with enthusiasm. We cannot wait to see all the fantastic creations she makes as she continues her crochet journey.

Connor's Chocolate Cake Success
Connor has been busy in the kitchen putting his baking skills to the test by making a delicious chocolate cake.
The whole centre was filled with the wonderful smell of freshly baked chocolate cake as Connor carefully mixed, baked, and decorated his creation. His hard work certainly paid off, and he made a fantastic cake for his family to enjoy.
Well done, Connor. We cannot wait to see what you decide to bake next!
A Step Back in Time at Cliffe Castle
We had a wonderful day exploring Cliffe Castle House and its beautiful grounds.
Everyone enjoyed discovering the fascinating history of the house, wandering through the impressive rooms, and taking in the stunning surroundings. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore somewhere new, enjoy the fresh air, and spend quality time together.
The day was filled with fun, friendship, and plenty of smiles, creating memories that will be talked about for a long time. We are already looking forward to our next adventure together.
Strike Up Some Fun
Some of the people we support enjoyed a fantastic trip to Electric Bowl in Halifax for a fun filled game of bowling.
There was plenty of friendly competition, lots of laughter, and great encouragement as everyone cheered each other on and celebrated some impressive scores.
It was a brilliant way to spend time with friends, enjoy each other's company, and create more wonderful memories together.
A Butterfly Adventure
Jack and Aneesa enjoyed a wonderful day exploring Manor Heath Park and making the most of the beautiful surroundings.
Their favourite part of the visit was spending time in the Butterfly House, where they loved watching the colourful butterflies flutter around in a calm and peaceful setting.
It was a fantastic day filled with fresh air, nature, and plenty of smiles. Trips like these are a great way to enjoy the local community, experience the outdoors, and create lasting memories together.
Parks, Buses and Brilliant Adventures
Alex has been making the most of public transport to explore some of the fantastic parks across Calderdale.
Travelling by bus has helped Alex grow in confidence and independence while discovering beautiful outdoor spaces along the way. Every trip has been a chance to enjoy the fresh air, take in the scenery, get some exercise and experience somewhere new.
It has been wonderful to see Alex becoming more confident with every journey and making the most of everything Calderdale has to offer.
Action Packed Fun at Flip Out
A trip to Flip Out is always a favourite with the people we support, and this visit was no exception.
From bouncing on the trampolines to racing around on the go karts, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was a fantastic day full of fun, laughter, and exciting activities that helped build confidence, encourage people to stay active, and create great memories with friends.
There is never a dull moment at Flip Out, and everyone had an amazing time.
Fresh Air and Fun at the Park
Ferran and Charlie had a fantastic day out enjoying the great outdoors at Manor Heath Park and Savile Park Moor.
The pair had lots of fun playing games together before heading off on a relaxing wellbeing walk around Savile Park Moor. It was a great opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, take in the beautiful surroundings, and spend quality time together.
It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, exercise, and friendship, creating more happy memories to look back on. Well done to both of you for making the most of a great day outdoors.
Smooth Sailing and Smiles All Round
We had a wonderful day out on the canal boats at Shepley Marina.
Everyone enjoyed a relaxing journey along the canal, taking in the beautiful scenery, spending quality time together, and making the most of the great outdoors. It was the perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy a peaceful day with friends.
