It’s a double birthday week plus slime and crafts!

Nathan loves getting messy, and we enjoy helping him. This week, Penny assisted him in making slime, and we tried our best to keep him clean, honestly.

Cheese and onion Pie was on the menu last week.

We made our own pastry, and we all helped to prepare the ingredients.

We are all getting better at chopping, grating, and working on our confidence around the oven.

Alex enjoys exploring the wider community with his support workers, visiting museums, having soft drinks in town while people-watching, and taking countryside walks.

On Sunday, we went to Mixenden Activity Centre for a one-off day on the adapted bikes.

It was lots of fun and we really enjoyed going around the track.

Tina has had a busy week, from volunteering at a cafe, to playing mini golf, and not forgetting celebrating her birthday in style.

We want to say a big thank you to Stitch, who surprised Tina with a visit for her birthday.

This week, Dion celebrated a big birthday, so not only did we have a cake in the park on Sunday, but we also had a cake at the Tuesday Club to celebrate with him.

We all hope he had a brilliant birthday.

Everyone who attends the hub and outreach has been getting crafty this week. They’ve been icing buns, making slime, playdough, and bunches of paper flowers, and doing some pottery painting.

They have also been out and about on public transport and enjoyed walks in the park, with a little stop off at the swings.
