Our Easter Bonnet Competition, Holiday Club, and we say goodbye to Alan.

Jack and Rebecca went to Collett & Sons in Halifax to present them with a lovely thank you hamper.

They have agreed to supply us with a float for the Halifax Gala again this year.

We cannot thank them and their drivers enough for this generous donation of a truck and driver.

We said goodbye to Alan this week as he retired from our outreach service.

We shall all miss him dearly, and everyone at The Mayfield Trust sends our good wishes and wishes him well for the future.

Over the holidays, we visited two different sensory rooms, both were amazing and well worth the drive.

Preston space centre is one of our old favourites, and we all enjoy it there.

Charter House in Burnley is a new sensory room quickly becoming one of our favourite places.

Jarrod has been out and about at different places all week.

He likes visiting new places as well as going back to his favourite places.

We had an Easter bonnet competition at The Hub.

Everyone had great fun and put a lot of effort into making them, and I think you’ll agree they all did a great job.

The winners are:

1st prize -Alex Feather (the nest with the big eggs in)

2nd prize - Alix Punch (golden ticket)

3rd prize - Leah Smith (nest)

We have been exploring and enjoying the sunshine in the wider community this week.

From Adventures at Lotherton Hall in Leeds and Banksfield Museum in Boothtown, to the Piece Hall in Halifax and time spent in the local parks with outside games.
